Our Story

Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge

Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge provides lifelong care to rescued farm animals, educates people about the realities of animal agriculture, and promotes veganism by offering knowledge, support, and community. Over the past 11 years, the Refuge has provided hundreds of farmed animals an opportunity to lead safe and fulfilling lives. Coming from abuse, neglect and abandonment, these animals experience unconditional love and lifelong care. At the same time, the Refuge has offered diverse and meaningful educational programing, allowing us to expand and multiply our rescue efforts by reaching the hearts and minds of thousands of adults and children with our message of compassion.
