Southern Pines Animal Shelter

Southern Pines Animal Shelter was founded in 1952 and has a mission to nurture the bond between people and pets through community, compassion, and collaboration. The organization operates an open admission shelter who has achieved no-kill status and who cares for more than 3,200 lost and unwanted dogs and cats each year. Southern Pines also operates a low-cost Healthy Pet Clinic and the Second Chance Thrift Shop.
