Junior Achievement of El Paso

  • El Paso, TX, USA

MISSION STATEMENT:

Junior Achievement's mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. The inspiration piece comes from community volunteers who not only deliver our lessons but share their experience. Junior Achievement of El Paso (JA) is an affiliate office of Junior Achievement USA. JA of El Paso is one of 103 local Junior Achievement organizations across the nation. JA collectively forms the largest 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices.

HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED TO FURTHER PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT?

Junior Achievement of El Paso is committed to promoting financial literacy to level the playing field for all local youth, addressing the challenges of poverty and high dropout rates. Funding will expand access to JA's curriculum and increase school participation. It will also support the recruitment and training of community volunteers to mentor students, enhancing JA's impact through hands-on educational experiences. Additionally, funds will enable partnerships with more schools to ensure equitable access to programs for all socioeconomic groups. JA aims to extend its proven programs to more students, including young adults aged 18-25, fostering meaningful and impactful learning experiences that prepare them for success.
