The Animal Welfare Association operates the oldest and largest adoption center and no-kill animal shelter in South Jersey. We do not receive funds from the government or national groups, relying on fundraisers like March Muttness to continue offering impactful programs serving our community and beyond. With a low-cost pet clinic, children's education programs, a pet food pantry, and many inner-city outreach initiatives to go along with rescuing thousands of homeless pets each year, AWA is determined to be more than a shelter.
